The Tripp Lite by Eaton IS250 Isolation Transformer System provides 250 watts of capacity for sensitive electronic equipment in industrial, medical, office, and network environments. Its transformer-based design delivers complete line isolation, continuous noise filtering, and enhanced normal- and common-mode surge suppression.

An internal low-impedance isolation transformer with a Faraday shield provides isolation from the input AC line, while secondary neutral-to-ground bonding helps eliminate common-mode noise and creates an isolated ground reference. The IS250 reduces EMI/RFI noise, utility switching transients, background spikes, and utility- or lightning-related surge conditions.

Additional suppression components at the line input and transformer output support continuous filtering across a broad range of power-line noise conditions. The unit reduces 6000-volt IEEE C62.41 Category A and B ring-wave and combination-wave test surges to 0.5 volts common mode. Its two widely spaced output receptacles, 6-foot power cord, circuit-breaker overload protection, and lighted power switch support practical installation and operation.

The rugged black all-metal housing is designed for upright tower or wall-mount placement.
