The Tripp Lite by Eaton N254-048-SH-6A 48-Port 1U Rack-Mount STP Shielded Cat6a Feedthrough Patch Panel provides an organized, high-density solution for enterprise, data center and telecommunications network cabling. Designed to meet or exceed Cat6a specifications, it supports 10 Gbps Ethernet data transfer speeds and works with USOC, T568A and T568B wiring standards. The feedthrough design eliminates the need for 110 punchdown termination, allowing compatible Cat6a patch cables to connect directly through the panel.
Fully shielded RJ45 coupler jacks are available on both the front and rear, helping maintain reliable connections in environments where electromagnetic interference protection is important. Each port is clearly numbered and labeled for efficient installation, troubleshooting and connection identification. The low-profile rack-mountable design installs into 1U of an EIA-standard 19-inch rack, making it well suited for space-conscious network cabinets and high-density patching applications.
A detachable rear cable management bar helps keep patch cables neat, supported and efficiently organized, reducing clutter behind the rack. The N254-048-SH-6A includes a grounding wire for proper shield grounding and is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), making it suitable for qualifying GSA Schedule purchases.
