The Tripp Lite E2MTDO EnviroSense2 Environmental Sensor Module provides remote ambient temperature monitoring for compatible Tripp Lite LX Platform devices. It connects through the included USB cable to devices such as WEBCARDLX, WEBCARDLXS, PDU3XE-Series PDUs, and PDU3E-Series PDUs, helping administrators monitor network environments through the PowerAlert Device Manager interface. Temperature conditions can be tracked remotely to support proactive equipment management and environmental awareness.
The E2MTDO also provides two digital outputs for remotely controlling compatible peripherals, including beacons and alarm signals. When temperature readings exceed a configured threshold or a digital output changes state, the event is recorded in the LX Platform device event log. Support for both AC- and DC-powered peripherals adds flexibility for a variety of monitoring and alerting applications.
Designed for convenient installation, the module attaches magnetically to most racks and cabinets. Its built-in retention harness helps secure cable connections and reduce clutter, while up to three E2 modules can be daisy-chained for expanded monitoring capability. The E2MTDO is compatible with Tripp Lite’s free downloadable PowerAlert software and includes a USB A-to-Micro-B cable and owner’s manual. This TAA-compliant, RoHS-compliant module is backed by a two-year limited warranty.
