The Tripp Lite N035-001 2-to-1 RJ45 Splitter Adapter Cable enables two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections to share one Cat5 or Cat5e cable run. This cable-saving solution can help reduce the time, labor, and expense associated with installing a second network drop. The adapter features one male RJ45 connector and two female RJ45 ports for connecting compatible network equipment.

Two N035-001 units are required for a complete installation. Connect one splitter to two network devices, such as computers or servers, and connect the second splitter to two ports on a network switch. A single four-pair unshielded twisted-pair Cat5 or Cat5e cable links the two splitter units through a compatible wall plate or patch panel. The RJ45 connections transmit over pins 1, 2, 3, and 6.

Built-in drilled flanges support convenient wall mounting, helping keep the installation organized in equipment rooms, offices, and structured cabling environments. The N035-001 is designed for 10/100Base-T Ethernet transmissions and supports network speeds up to 100 Mbps. It is not intended to combine or divide a single network signal so two computers can independently share one network line.
