The Ultima 79055 Hydraulic Kick Starter Cover is designed for 4-speed Harley-Davidson FL models from 1941 through 1950. This replacement kick starter cover is intended for use with the original clutch rod and provides compatibility with a hydraulic clutch setup when paired with the required components. The hydraulic line for the clutch handle is not included.
Installation may require Allen screws for mounting the cover. This assembly requires an 11/16-inch master cylinder banjo fitting, a 10mm fitting, a 3/8-inch AN-3 fitting, and one 3/8-24-inch bolt. Verify all related clutch and mounting hardware before installation to ensure proper fitment and function. Depending on the motorcycle and surrounding components, an extended kick starter shaft may be needed to provide additional clearance.
The Ultima 79055 is manufactured in Taiwan and supplied as one complete unit. For added installation flexibility, compatible accessory items include the Ultima Longer Kick Starter Shaft, Ultima Finned Kick Starter Cover Cast Aluminum, and Ultima Kick Cover Lever Bushing with zinc-plated finish. Confirm the existing clutch rod, master cylinder, fittings, and available clearance before ordering. Fits 1941-1950 Harley-Davidson FL models.
