The V-Twin 24-7266 Factory Sample 41mm Glide Fork Slider Set is designed for select Harley-Davidson FL models and accepts 1977–1984-style fork seals. The fork tubes fit directly into the lower legs without separate bushings, while the included bushings support installation and proper fork function. This set includes two polished glide fork sliders for restoring or customizing compatible front suspension assemblies.
The fork legs accept later-model double-lip fork seals, along with the related seal washers and snap rings. For best results, V-Twin suggests pairing this slider set with the 14-0938 Fork Seal Kit and 24-1733 Hard Chrome 41mm Fork Tube Assembly. Verify all threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation, and confirm component compatibility with the motorcycle’s existing fork assembly.
As factory sample parts, the V-Twin 24-7266 sliders may have cosmetic imperfections in the finished surface, including marks from installation testing and fitment. These samples do not have physical defects such as cracks or holes; however, visible surface variations should be expected.
