The V-Twin 35-1830 OKO 1-7/8 inch Shorty Carburetor Kit is an R-2 version replacement carburetor system designed for select classic Harley-Davidson applications. The kit includes a shorty carburetor air snoot with door, brand-type intake manifold, band seal set, and a #190 main jet installed. Its carburetor components and rebuild parts are interchangeable with compatible OKO shorty and S&S-style components, making it a practical option for replacement, repair, or custom motorcycle projects.
The air cleaner mounting bolt configuration follows the S&S E-style pattern, allowing compatibility with S&S air cleaners and related components. This kit requires a carburetor support bracket for mounting between the air cleaner and the cylinder studs. Additional holes in the air cleaner backing plate may be required during installation. The supplied intake manifold and band seal set support installation on applicable engines, while stepped conversion rings can be used for pre-1978 applications originally equipped with an O-ring-style setup.
The included snoot is intended for air intake use only and is not an air cleaner.
