The V-Twin Replica Knucklehead 30° Rake Frame is designed for specified 1946–1947 Harley-Davidson FL, U, and EL applications. Its forged components include the neck, front and rear motor mounts, sidecar loops, and rear axle plates. The 30° neck angle accepts offset spring forks, while the top cross member across the rear legs is brazed in the style of original frames.
This frame includes the seat post, with seat post bushings, mechanical brake cross-shaft bushings, a correct toolbox mount, and grease fittings installed. The replica frame features forging hallmarks on many components, including the seat yoke, front motor mount, sidecar loops, rear axle plates, and transmission front and rear mounts. No serial numbers are stamped on the replica frame; V-Twin supplies a bill of sale referencing part number 51-1946.
For installation, mount the seat to the frame before installing the gas tanks, and place the 6320 washer between the tank and frame tab before mounting. Seat post and cross-shaft bushings may require further reaming for proper fit.
