Equipped with a three-element array head, the CeilingMIC delivers full 360-degree coverage, making it suitable for average-sized conference tables. Each unit incorporates three unidirectional cardioid microphone elements, along with integrated echo cancellation and advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to optimize sound quality. The DSP includes equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC), ensuring crystal-clear communication during conference calls, especially when used in conjunction with Vaddio products like the AV Bridge MATRIX PRO or EasyUSB Mixer/Amp, which provide reference signals for echo cancellation.
Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design that uses a single Cat-5 cable to connect the CeilingMIC interface box to compatible Vaddio equipment. The system supports cable lengths of up to 100 feet, allowing flexible placement without sacrificing audio quality. The pendant microphone includes a 36-inch adjustable drop cable and can extend up to 15 feet from the interface box using a standard RJ45 connection. The lightweight ceiling box simplifies installation, enabling quick setup in various ceiling types.
