This model is compatible with both POE and data-only configurations, providing flexibility for diverse network environments. The LongSpan Max supports 90W of power, enabling it to power high-power PoE Plus devices over long cable runs, which is especially beneficial for outdoor IP cameras and other perimeter security equipment. It can be powered via standard IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt switches or injectors, or through Veracity’s dedicated power supplies that maximize range and power delivery. The device's auto-negotiation capability allows it to adapt seamlessly to single-pair UTP cables, facilitating easy upgrades from legacy analog systems without compromising performance or reliability. This automatic detection ensures consistent IP video quality across extended distances, even when using legacy cabling. The LongSpan Max is engineered for high-density applications, with an expandable mounting system that allows up to 24 channels to be housed within a single 1U rack space, making it suitable for large-scale surveillance and networking deployments. Smart diagnostic LEDs, including the SAFEVIEW display on POE models, provide instant feedback on power status, link quality, and cable diagnostics, enabling quick and confident installation.
