The Vertex Top End Piston Kit VTKTC23003B-1 is a complete top-end rebuild designed to restore reliability and unlock more consistent power across the RPM range. It combines precision-fit pistons with all required hardware to get engines back to peak performance quickly.
Each piston in the line is engineered for durability under demanding use. Cast pistons are gravity cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content for a light yet strong core, while forged pistons use 2618 aluminum for increased strength and long-term durability. Forged high compression variants boost power and torque across the operating range, and big bore options increase displacement to maximize peak horsepower. Piston skirts receive a protective Molybdenum Disulphite coating to shorten break-in time and extend piston life. All pistons are heat treated with a T-5 cycle to optimize hardness and wear resistance.
The kit includes everything needed for a complete top-end service: piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips, a top-end gasket set, and a wrist pin bearing when applicable. Replacement rings are offered; two-stroke rings are sold individually while four-stroke rings are sold as a set.
