Built with Geist upgradeable hot-swap technology, the rPDU can adapt as infrastructure requirements change by accepting the appropriate Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD). Environmental monitoring capabilities can also be added with optional sensors, providing access to real-time facility conditions that may help prevent climate-related equipment issues. Fault-tolerant daisy chaining with Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) helps maintain data reporting if a network connection is interrupted, while supporting up to 40 rPDUs in the chain.
