Proven reliability - The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against o verheating, whether due to over load or high ambient temperature.
High start-up power - Needed to start loads such as power co nverters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.
ECO mode - When in ECO mode , the inverter will switch to stan dby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds) . If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.
Remote on/off- A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connecto r, or between battery plus and the left-hand contact of the two-pole connector.
To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch - For our low power inverters , we recommend our Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Its 250VA output and 120V NEMA 5-15R receptacle make it suitable for powering a range of household electronics, tools, lighting, and other AC loads. The proven full-bridge and toroidal transformer design supports dependable operation while providing protection against short circuits and overheating caused by overloads or elevated ambient temperatures.
VE.Direct connectivity enables configuration and monitoring through compatible equipment. Connect the inverter to a computer with a VE.Direct to USB interface cable, or use a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle to connect with Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks, and other devices. Configurable settings include low-battery alarm and shutdown thresholds, restart levels, dynamic load-dependent cutoff, output voltage from 210V to 245V, 50Hz or 60Hz frequency selection, and ECO mode operation and sensitivity.
Monitoring and control features provide visibility into input voltage, output voltage, load percentage, and alarms. ECO mode reduces energy consumption by placing the inverter in standby when the load falls below the configured threshold, then periodically checking for an active load. Remote on/off control is supported through the dedicated two-pole connector. The inverter also delivers high startup power for demanding loads such as LED lamp power converters, halogen lamps, and electric tools.
Installation and transfer options include convenient DC screw terminals that require no special tools and a NEMA 5-15R output socket for standard compatible connections. When transferring loads to another AC source, Victron Energy recommends the Filax Automatic Transfer Switch, which provides a rapid switchover suitable for computers and other sensitive electronic equipment.
