Proven Reliability

The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against o verheating, whether due to over load or high ambient temperature.

High start-up power

Needed to start loads such as power co nverters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.

ECO mode

When in ECO mode , the inverter will switch to stan dby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds) . If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.

Remote on/off

A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connecto r, or between battery plus and the left-hand contact of the two-pole connector.

To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch

For our low power inverters , we recommend our Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Through a compatible interface, users can monitor input and output voltage, load percentage, and alarm status while adjusting operating parameters to match the installation.

Fully configurable operation includes low-battery alarm trip and reset levels, low-battery shutdown and restart levels, dynamic load-dependent cutoff, adjustable AC output voltage, 50Hz or 60Hz frequency selection, and ECO mode settings. ECO mode reduces standby consumption by switching the inverter into standby when the load falls below a preset level. It periodically checks for an active load and returns to continuous operation when the connected equipment requires power.

Installation and control features include screw-terminal DC connections that require no special tools, a remote on/off connection through the two-pole terminal, and high startup power for loads such as LED power converters, halogen lamps, and electric tools. When uninterrupted transfer between the inverter and another AC source is required, Victron Energy recommends pairing the unit with a Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax provides rapid transfer to help compatible computers and electronic equipment continue operating with minimal interruption.
