The VE.Direct port can be connected to:

Proven reliability: The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to over load or high ambient temperature.

High start-up power: Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.

ECO mode: When in ECO mode , the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds) . If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.

Remote on/off:A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connector, or between battery plus and the left-hand contact of the two-pole connector.

To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch: For our low power inverters , we recommend our Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

Fully configurable: Customize low-battery alarm and shutdown thresholds, restart levels, dynamic load-dependent cut-off behavior, output voltage, frequency, ECO mode operation, and ECO mode sensitivity. The inverter can be configured for 50Hz or 60Hz operation and offers adjustable output voltage settings from 210V to 245V as provided by the manufacturer. Monitoring functions display input voltage, output voltage, load percentage, and active alarms for convenient system oversight.

Reliable operation: The full-bridge and toroidal-transformer design has a proven service history and includes protection against short circuits and overheating caused by overload or elevated ambient temperatures. High start-up power helps operate demanding loads such as LED lamp power supplies, halogen lighting, power converters, and electric tools. ECO mode reduces idle consumption by placing the inverter in standby when the load falls below the preset threshold, then checking periodically for a connected load.

Flexible system integration: A remote on/off switch can be connected through the two-pole connector for convenient control. When transferring a load between this inverter and another AC source, Victron Energy recommends the Filax Automatic Transfer Switch, which provides a rapid changeover suitable for computers and other sensitive electronic equipment.
