The VisionTek VT4950 is a hybrid workstation docking station designed for users who share one desk between two laptops. Its integrated KVM switch lets you control both systems with the same keyboard, mouse, monitors, and USB accessories, helping eliminate cable swapping and simplify transitions between work and personal computers. Switch between connected laptops using a button or hotkey, while the dock provides a centralized connection point for your complete workstation.

DisplayLink technology supports up to two 4K displays at 60 Hz, including on compatible MacBook systems that may otherwise have limited external-monitor support. A third display can be added through the HDMI output when the connected USB-C computer supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. The VisionTek VT4950 is compatible with USB-C, Thunderbolt 3, and Thunderbolt 4 systems, including Chromebook, MacBook, PC, and compatible M1 and M2 Mac computers. macOS users must install the DisplayLink driver and enable Screen Recording permissions for full display functionality.

Up to 100W USB-C Power Delivery helps charge compatible laptops through the dock while you work, reducing the need for separate chargers. The port selection includes two USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 ports and one USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port with data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, one HDMI 2.0 output, and an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port.
