Each tank holds 3-1/2 gallons, and this raw steel gas tank set is designed for Harley-Davidson UL models from 1937 to 1940. It accepts NPT petcocks and provides a vintage Fat Bob profile with period-accurate detailing.

The left side features a distinctive rounded indent and ribbed inside panels, with reinforced ribs pressed on for added durability—a nod to upgrades used on 1941–1946 models—while the right side remains smooth for a clean, balanced look.

The tank set requires two petcocks (one per side): left side petcock 3/8 inch x 18 NPT; right side petcock 1/8 inch x 27 NPT. It does not include a shut-off rod provision on the left side.

It accepts cateye or early skull dash and base assemblies and early 1937–1946 shifter gates, and includes two vented caps with shorter bayonet cap spigots for period authenticity. Emblem mount strips are sold separately; older models may require decals or emblem mounts for authenticity.
