Its microprocessor-controlled charging system supports flooded, gel, AGM, and lead-calcium batteries, while temperature compensation helps optimize charging performance. The three-bank design allows the charger to maintain multiple battery banks from a single compact unit.

Designed for worldwide use, the TrueCharge2 features an auto-ranging AC input that accepts 90 to 265 volts AC at 47 to 63 Hz, making it suitable for shore power, generators, and variable-quality electrical sources. Power factor correction improves charging efficiency, and the charger can recover and charge deeply discharged batteries. A drip-proof housing, certified ignition protection, reverse-polarity protection, overcharge protection, DC over-voltage protection, and temperature safeguards support dependable installation in demanding environments, including suitable gasoline engine rooms.

Installation is simplified with accessible AC and DC wiring compartments and protected battery connections. The charger provides selectable charge, float, and equalization voltages, along with compatibility for a remote battery temperature sensor.
